I usually just show up to things and people do not question my presence because I stand very still.

Wonderful. I will make preparations. Perhaps we can host it at the bed and breakfast, if Quaid is amenable. And yes, you and Emmett seem to be the most presently capable. Be careful.

Hm. Perhaps things got crossed. At any rate, Arlo, who I do not know, invited me to Court’s birthday party with other people I do not know. And he was very friendly in conversation and enthusiastic about the time I spent in the Prescott bunkhouse. This is unprecedented in my experience.

Are you sure you aren’t in love with Emmett Yes. And you’ve had a recent string of good luck. But still I worry.

You are cool […] in your own unique way. But I was also democratically elected to assist you in leading our community. […] Sometimes it is confusing, what we are to each other outside of this.

Whatever it is, luck or something else, may it continue indefinitely.

To me it is.

Oh, you’re serious about the Furby. Well. Thank you.

Neither. The social rules dictating how aldermen should relate to their mayor are more cognizable to me than the rules about how friendships are made and maintained.

And it was perplexing for me the entire time. […] I don’t just experience this with you, though. This has been a universal and lifelong issue.

I think that approach works for the majority of people. I'm glad.
